If "believe in" means "worship", then no--I don't worship UFOs. And when I do my believing, I don't need to be inside that to which my belief relates, whether it's a UFO or anything else for that matter.
However, I do believe that some objects fly, and that some of those flying objects are unidentified. Certainly flying objects have been seen and no doubt will continue to be seen. And certainly some of those flying objects have been and will continue to be unidentified (until they are identified (or not as the case may be)). The question is less about whether the objects exist or not, and more about the attributes (qualia) of the objects. Existence is one such attribute. Flying is another. Being unidentified is another. In fact, the objects must exist in some manner shape or form, because if they did not we wouldn't and couldn't be having this conversation.
Do I believe in God? It depends what you mean by "believe in".
I don't worship God (My God doesn't request or require worship), nor do I have to be inside* God to believe in God or anything else for that matter. However, I believe that certain attributes are the attributes of the thing called "God" by some people. (I prefer to use the term ETI: Everthing That Is).
The difference between "believe in..." and "believe that..." is not just hairsplitting semantics. It's important. And meaningful. You better believe (in?) it!
*As it happens, I am inside God, funnily enough, as is everything.
