Absolutely stunning! The top one looks more grounded somehow.

Hi Mika, Yes I also think it's the top one, but what I do like about the bottom one is that the "house" with two windows on the left hand side is angled towards the centre, giving the whole thing a bit more perspective.

Thanks for your comment.

Hi Antares, thanks for your comments. Yes I think so too. It's the overwhelming consensus (3 out of 3, so far!). You wouldn't believe how long it took me to get a halfway decent shot of it.

Cheers

I love the shades of blue in this one. Very mystical!

Mystical place, Lemuria. Believed by some to be a continent that was swamped by floods / The Flood, and that today lies under the Indian Ocean. Graham Hancock's "Underworld" has a lot of fascinating stuff on the topic.

He reckons there were actually a number of "global superfloods" the distant imprints of which are seen in "myths and legends".

Great book, highly recommended.

I think the top one, because the bottom half in blackness looks like a reflection of the top.

Hobbes, thanks for stopping by.

Your reasoning is persuasive.
It looks like the top one wins by a landslide.

I still wish it could be the bottom one though, for reasons stated above, but you can't have it both ways...

I like the bottom one because the title is Voyage to Lemuria, and the town is at the water's edge.

Hi Karen, I like the bottom one because of the "vanishing point" perspective re the house with two windows (per my commment above). But there are two problems with the bottom one: 1) the title "Voyage to Lemuria" is upside down (left hand side, where the water meets the houses), and 2) on the right hand side, the three dome-like objects can't be domes, because they're upside down, whereas in the top version, the domes are OK as domes.
